Hearthstone
The sixth and seventh grade classes held a fundraiser to raise money to purchase an animal for a poor family in Africa through Heifer International. The fundraiser had an African theme, in conjunction with their recently completed study block on African geography, history and culture. The students raised nearly $300.00, which they will use to purchase several flocks of chickens for several families in Africa.
