Veteran QuickBooks instructor Diane Wheeler will spend four afternoons with the students teaching them how to use QuickBooks Pro Accounting Software at a nonprofit. Some of the areas that will be covered are setting up a chart of accounts, using bank account registers and reconciling accounts, paying bills, receiving donations and keeping track of pledges. Ms. Wheeler will also introduce the class to QuickBooks’ letter writing feature and explain how this feature can be used to communicate with your donors. QuickBooks’ payroll features will be covered and students will leave the class knowing how to access and the reports feature and use it to generate reports for grant writing purposes and board reporting purposes.
