send me a coupon. Areal person answered, which is always nice, and she said, “Hi, this is Kathy at ABC plants. How can I help you.”
Things went pretty well. I gave her all my order numbers and how much of this and that I wanted, and my credit card information and we wished each other a nice day and I proceeded to call the next place.
Then, when I looked at the phone number, I realized that it was the same number except for the last digit. I got a little suspicious, but dialed the number anyway, and this very familiar voice said, “Hi, this is Kathy at XYZ plants. How can I help you.”
I said, “Hi, Kathy. This is Richard. Didn’t I just talk to you about an order from ABC plants?” She laughed and said, “Why, yes you did.” And I said, “Well, when we finish this order, I also want to put in an order for EFG nursery, is that you, as well?” “Yes,” she said, “We bought all the ordering accounts this year.”
So, if you are going to order from more than one place, to take advantage of the coupons, check the phone numbers. You might save yourself an extra call.
