Presentation Workshop
Knowing how to speak confidently in front of a group of people is a skill that will only benefit a person, whether s/he is in elementary school, high school, college, or as an adult in almost any job. At some point in time in all of our lives, each of us will have to give a presentation of some sort in a group setting.
Joan Proctor has agreed to offer a Presentation Workshop for Rappahannock 4-H members. Joan has given presentation workshops to 4-H members for many years, with some of her workshop participants winning State awards for their presentation skills. We are lucky to have her offer this program to us!!! . Joan teaches youth how to calm their nerves when speaking in public as well as how best to stand, how to create posters and other materials to go along with the presentation, and helps determine the best wording for presentations. She is truly wonderful.
The Presentation Workshop will take place on the following dates:
Feb. 22, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (come with a topic and any information that you have on that topic) March 22, 5:30-7 pm
