This will be our 19th season! I will be directing the camp, and Trista Scheuerlein will return as Assistant Director. Trista is a local market gardener, musician, and a wonderful teacher who coordinates the “Farm-toTable” program at Rappahannock County High School. Aspiring herpetologist Alex Purnell, pending his academic obligations, also plans to return as our all-time favorite counselor. He has been an invaluable asset to our camp for more than seven years.
The Rappahannock Nature Camp is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 12.
Its goals are:
• to awaken an interest in our natural surroundings;
• to observe living plants and animals in their own habitats;
