Since 1947, over 125,000 women educators around the world have discovered the many opportunities provided by Alpha Delta Kappa. These include opportunities for recognition of their commitment to educational excellence, for personal and professional growth, leadership and for collectively focusing their energies toward school, their communities and their profession. Alpha Delta Kappa was founded in Kansas City, Missouri and currently has over 45,000 members in 1,600 chapters in every state and in Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Mexico. The local chapter, Beta Omicron, consists of educators who live or work in Culpeper, Rappahannock and Fauquier counties.
