she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Doyle Marshall, her brother, Clifford Reid Lillard, and her sister, Hazel Lillard Hawkins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, at 1 p. m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ted Fuson officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.

Mary Merrill “Quita” Chandler Parrish died Monday, October 9.
She was bom on October 30, 1921 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the third child of Alfred DuPont Chandler and Caroline Ramsay Chandler. Her family moved l>ack to Wilmington Delaware when she was a young girl, and she attended the Tatnall and Tbwer Hill Schools.
On her 13th birthday, her family embarked on a sailing adventure to the Galapagos Islands. This is chronicled in the book “The Cruise of the Blue Dolphin”, written by her sister Nina. On returning she graduated from the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Smith College, Northampton, Mass. She spent her winters in Cat Island, Georgetown, South Carolina and her summers on Nantucket. She was an accomplished sailor and swimmer.
She married Isaac Lowe Parrish in 1946 and moved to Sewickley, Pa.
