Tournament will begin on Sunday, October 15, at 9 a. m. with a shotgun start, at Bowling Green C.C. (South Course) in Front Royal, VA. The format will be a four-person Scramble Captain’s Choice. Holein-one prizes include: $1,000,000 (Paid out as a 40 year annuity) and a Ford Focus, Courtesy of Rappahannock County National Bank and Shenandoah Ford; various holiday trips and more. Lunch will be provided by Burgers’n’ Things after the Tournament. Proceeds benefit the Rappahannock County School Sports Association. You may enter individually or as a team. A new session of ballet classes is beginning at the Belle Meade Schoolhouse! Ballet is a fun way to get fit and gain strength, flexibility and coordination! Candidates Forum
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP) is sponsoring a candidates forum featuring the three individuals running for Supervisor in the Piedmont district. The forum will take place on Tuesday, October 17, at 7:30 p.m., in the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. The format will be a question-and-answer session for the three candidates moderated by James P. Gannon. Submit your questions and come to the forum to hear the views of all three candidates. Committee meeting
The Rappahannock Republican Committee will meet at 7 p. m. at the Rappahannock County Library. Everyone is welcome to attend. Although we will be focusing on the upcoming elections, a variety of topics of concern to conservatives and liberals alike will be discussed. Garden Club meeting
The Rappahannock County Garden Club will hold its October meeting promptly at 12:30 p.m. in the Culinary Arts classroom at Rappahannock County High School.
