requirements have altered participation. Right now we have been fortunate and are grateful to have experienced personnel from the Richmond area step in so that we can maintain a capable level of service. These people have been recruited by our chief, Josh Waddell. We also get support from other rescue companies in the county.
Now we must look forward and encourage more involvement from our community. We offer training opportunities for new members to enable them to function on our ambulances as drivers and/or emergency medical technicians. Such training can lead to a new career path. We also need volunteers to help out in all areas of our operation. We need to take the load off squad members who are responding to emergency calls and also doing administrative activities.
