Neph said that the team has improved since their first match.
“Most of these kids are brand new to football,” Neph said, “But we’ve got some core kids that are working hard.” The Freshman team lost 0-35 to Stonewall Jackson, and 6-27 at Cumberland High School. Neph said during practice that the team is working hard at all aspects of the game in order to stay competitive especially the defense.
