This note is for everyone, the
concerned citizen as well as the local official, the newcomer to meetings of the Board of Supervisors as well as those who have attended for years. It is everyone’s job to be involved in democracy; no one person will succeed alone. We need everyone in this effort.
There ARE threats to our Rappahannock way of life: aggressive development, lack of wireless communications in some areas, ever increasing real estate taxes, housing needs of the workforce and the elderly, and degradation of our streams and rivers.
