CONSERVATION SPECIALIST The John Marshall Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking an energetic person to fill the conservation specialist position working in Fauquier County. Successful candidate will provide technical assistance to landowners to implement agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs), including conservation planning, survey and design work. Minimum requirements: any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in soils, agronomy, natural resources, water quality, animal science or related field; experience in soil and water conservation; map experience and computer experience a plus.
