Hearthstone kicked off the school year Sept. 4 with an “opening circle” and an all-day hike on Buck Hollow Trail. Hearthstone welcomes
new teachers
Lower school teacher Elizabeth Shaw comes to the school from North Carolina. She is a graduate of University of North Carolina Wilmington and holds teaching certificates for North Carolina and Virginia. Frances Miller, the school's new music teacher, comes to the school from Bloomington, Ind. She attended the ffennsylvania Academy of Music, Oberhn Conservatory of Music, the Royal School of Music in Kenya and is a graduate of Goshen^ College. She has received several awards and honors in her field and has released three original CDs. In addition to her regular music classes, Ms. Miller will be offering private lessons in violin, viola, piano and guitar
