Those were just some of the words floating around Rappahannock County High School’s gymnasium on Tuesday night after the Lady Panthers put together one of their best performances of the year, throttling the visiting Stonewall Jackson Generals 25-16, 25-8, 25-21 in straight sets. The Lady Panthers are now 5-0 on the year.
“I think we were amazing tonight,” senior Elaina fritter said. “We communicated really well, and we never got caught, off guard. It was our best showing this year and it just feels awesome.”
The Panthers dominated the first game of the match as Kim Hutcheson recorded seven kills and Kritter added four. Game two was even more impressive for the Panthers duo. In the second game, Hutcheson recorded eight straight service points, while Kritter chipped in with five kills and four service points.
