Sept. 27: Rappahannock
Elder Care Meeting
The Rappahannock Elder Care Coalition, a group of local professionals and citizens devoted to better care of the elderly, will start meeting again on Sept. 27, at the library at 1 pm. The Elder Care Coalition will be, among other topics, discussing the Senior Navigator website, with a representative present to answer questions. The meetings will, unless otherwise noted, be held on the fourth Thursday, every month afterwards. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Oct. 2: Sheriffs forum
The Rappahannock News wil sponsor a sheriffs forum on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Rappahannock County High School. The three candidates running for sheriff are Connie Compton Smith, J.C. Welch and Chris Williams. As the November election nears, this wil be a wonderful opportunity to hear from and learn more about your next sheriff.
