Commuter Bus Proposal

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission (RRRC) is exploring the feasibility of luxury commuter bus service from Warrenton Ffark and Ride Lot to Metro with possible other stops fa Washington, D.C. Interested? Stop by the Commuter Fair to be held Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Warrenton Park and Ride Lot located at the intersection of Routes 29 and 605 in Fauquier County. Sept. 20: Rain Gardens

The regular monthly meeting of Rappahannock Friends and Lovers of Our Watershed (RappFLOW) will take place on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at our office, located in the building just to the right of the Old Sperryville Schoolhouse. In the spirit of watershed conservation and protection, we will explore the concept of rain gardens - what a rain garden is, how to build one, and how your own rain garden can help protect YOUR watershed. We extend a special invitation to those who have already installed a rain garden, so bring your neighbor and join the fun! RappFLOW will also be celebrating the official certification of six RappFLOW volunteers who this month became certified in macro invertebrate water quality sampling.
