adequate yearly
progress
Both Rappahannock County Elementary School and Rappahannock County High School made “adequate yearly progress” (AYP) based on testing and other benchmarks achieved during the 2006-2007 school year, according to Virginia Department of Education reports. Rappahannock County public schools have not received official notification on state accreditation for 2007-2008, but anticipate that both schools will be fully accredited based on “standards of learning” testing during 20062007.
