A Kid’s Community Bible Club sponsored by Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and Washington Baptist Church begins its r fourth year on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 4 p. m. to 5 p. m. This year’s program is open to all children in grades one through six. It will be held at the Washington Baptist Church. The program consists of Bible memorization, crafts, games, music and refreshments. Prizes are given for scripture verses memorized. Many children take the bus from school and come straight to the church. For more information you may contact the Washington Baptist Church office at 540675-3336.
Amissville United Methodist Church will be celebrating its annual Homecoming Sunday on September 16. The morning service will be enhanced by plenty of music and followed by a covered-dish luncheon.
