Sequoia National Park served as the next destination. Seeing these beautiful, magnificent trees was another highlight on the trip. The giant sequoia is the earth’s largest tree by total volume of wood and can only be found on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains between 5,000 and 7,000 feet elevation. As the Guyant family strolled through the Giant Forest admiring thousands of these amazing trees, they had the opportunity to see The General Sherman, the largest living thing in the world, which stands at 275 feet tall, has a 30 ft. diameter base, and is approximately 2,200 years old! At last, the family headed back to Los Angeles to catch their return flight home allowing the family to reflect upon all they had seen and done, leaving memories that will last a life time!
