Mack Rowe presents a unique photographic vision, his “LightSearch!” series, which transforms nature into breathtaking portraits of light and color - a new poetic imagery vibrating on the frontier between photography and painting - a photographic impressionism. His imagery is created directly in the camera and uses no special lighting, photo enhancement, or computer modification.

During his professional career, graphics designer Rowe was Art Director for the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C., a visual communications consultant for the firm, Consumer Dynamics, and “in retirement” is now president of his own business, Mack Rowe Visual Commimiratinna

Photography became a natural adjunct to Rowe’s graphics design work. His “LightSearch” series which transforms nature into breathtaking portraits of light and color is an expression of his own metaphysical growth.

“Through the eye of my camera I have followed the many ways that fight interacts with fife in the world around us,” Rowe said. “In my ‘LightSearch’ series, I have captured these fightscapes as I found them. In creating this special world, I am penetrating the familiar and proceeding into a realm of light love, and visual delight ”
