New science labs
For the beginning of the nqs| school year, Wakefield Country Day School completed the rex!^ vation and modernization of its existing lab and constructed a second lab. The new labs will lielp to accommodate the increased number of available science classes such as Advanced Placement courses and seventh-grade science, while also providing better teaching and lab space, and more up-to-date equipment and computer technology. The renovation and construction also equipped the labs and lower level classrooms with centralized heat and air conditioning. New hrnch program
Mom’s Country Kitchen of Front Royal will provide lunch this year for all students who sign up for the program. Lunches will cost $3.75 for grades 1-6 and $4 .25 for grades 7-12. (Larger portions will be served to the older students.) Lunch is served Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Sign-up sheets were attached to the Aug. 30 school bulletin.
