Ratings, money, and greed, have driven the nation’s largest sports network to break a long tradition once considered taboo. For years, Friday nights were reserved for high school football, Saturday for college pigskin, and Sunday and Monday night for the NFL.

I guess money changes everything.

This season, ESPN has decided to telecast a full slate of Friday night college football games. ESPN has experimented with the thought of Friday night college games for years, but this season, they’ve gone full throttle with the idea.
