The men of Veterans of Foreign Wars FY>st 1150 have survived battles as far back as World War II and as recent as Afghanistan They have earned medals for gallantry and are proud of the sendee thyfwwhrti their country.
Now members of Sperryville’s Post 1150, the only VFW post in liappahannock County; have another battle <m their hands as their post is in danger of being shut down.
VFW State Commander Jimmy Lee Wallace said Post 1150 failed to send an election report to the VFW’s national headquarters. The report was due Aug. 1 and is required by VFW national bylaws.
