A Power Line Awareness Festival will be held Oct. 20 at Cory Koral’s Jordan River Farm in Huntly.
The event will include live music, speakers, a solar house tour and a bonfire. Green vendors are welcome and tailgating is encouraged.
At dusk, there will be a “Lightwalk” under the Dominion Virginia power lines that cross the farm. Participants can bring their own 3-foot fluorescent light bulb, which will illuminate from the stray electricity emitted by the lines.
