Oct. 6: It's apple

butter time and more!

Come to the Rappahannock Farmers Co-op on Saturday. Oct. 6, to get this year’s Lion's Club apple butter. Nothing beats the start of a fall day but some warm toast topped with apple butter. There will be local homemade cakes and pies as well as area farmers selling beef. Students from Wakefield County Day School will be on hand with hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. Oct. 6: Picking Party

Hackley's store will be having their Picking Party on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. All bluegrass and country bands are welcome. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Bring your lawn chairs, voices and instruments and enjoy a great night of fun For more information call 937-5373.
