River to Dawson and Whitehorse. They boarded the cruise ship at Skagway and sailed the inside passage to Glacier Bay National Park and Ketchikan. The last stop was Vancouver, BC. Shelby had a great time and she shared a saying of the Alaskan people, “Come and visit us! We are twice as big as Texas without the attitude!”
Birthdays
Bradley Thomas Settle, son of Lee and Renee Settle, hit a big milestone September 13 - he was one year old! He celebrated the big day at the Washington School on Sunday Sept. 16 with brother Elijah and sister Katarina. Many family and friends were there including grandparents Bill and Kim Goodwin, Bubby and Tamara Settle, and Terri and Terry Brooks. Other birthdays - belated and yet to come are Chester Gap residents Lillian Fox on the 17th, Janet Monismith on the 19th, and Lauren Fox on the 23rd. Stuart Bailey of Huntly has a birthday on the 26th.
