votes to 89. Roughly 36 percent of the district’s 100,785 registered voters cast ballots in the senate election Tuesday. In Rappahannock, more than 55 percent of registered voters participated. The 26th District includes Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah and Warren counties, part of Rockingham County and the city of Harrisonburg. Another term for Gilbert Del. Todd Gilbert, R-15th, ran unopposed in Tuesday’s election and was elected to another two-year term in the House of Delegates. Gilbert landed more than 98 percent of the 15,455 votes cast. There were 301 votes for write-in candidates. Rappahannock voters cast a larger percentage of their ballots for write-in candidates (3.3 percent) than any other jurisdiction in the 15th District.
