“Art from the Heart” Art Show
Save the Date: Wakefield Country Day School (WCDS) is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual “Art from the Heart” Art Shew will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1. For the past five years, this event has been a great success - last year featuring the works of 30 local professional artists, as weif as artistic creations by WCDS students. December’s show again promises to provide a wonderful opportunity to obtain beautiful works of art for your personal collection or for holiday gifts. Acting as an “art gallery for a day,” WCDS will provide a venue to admire the works of well-known area artists in a variety of media, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, bronzes and jewelry. Proceeds help support and enhance the school's fine arts programs, including its art curriculum, and provide scholarships to deserving students. Annual Holiday Bazaar
The bazaar will feature many handmade items by craftspeople, Hearthstone students and parents: beeswax candles, ornaments, cards, jewelry, scarves, bath salts, fresh handmade wreaths & greenery, Christmas trees, organic herb infused vinegars and oils, baked goods, food & cider. Children’s toys and books and import items will also be available. In the Hearthstone Community Room, 11576 Lee Hwy., Fit. 211,2 miles west of Sperryvilte from 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. Vendors interested in selling at the bazaar please call 540-987-9212.
