On September 23, amidst a perfect
day, American Road Motorcycle shop of Amissville held a benefit ride for the family of U.S. Marines SSGT. Ryan J. Oyster. In addition after the ride, the most excellent band “Envy Insane” performed at the Shop for the enjoyment of all the people who participated in the ride, as well as other passersby who were lucky enough to catch the performance.
As I drove to the Motorcycle shop, I anticipated I would get there early to greet the riders during the registration process. I wanted to thank them for coming and for giving my son their support. Instead, when I arrived I could not park in the main lot because the spaces were already so totally full that they could not have fit another motorcycle, much less a car, into the lot. I had to park across the street at the Hackley's Store. I was overwhelmed by the response to the needs on behalf of my daughter-in-law, Rachel, and my grandchildren. I had to contain myself before
