us with our anxieties about whether we could effectively take care of him. Immediately after my father-in-law arrived home a nurse and a social worker from Hospice of the Rapidan were there to make sure he was comfortable and to teach those of us that would be caring for him what to do and what to expect.
When my father-n-law passed away he was home with his wife, daughter and my husband. I believe that he was comfortable and without pain. The nurse in charge of his case took care of everything so that my husband, his sister and my mother-in-law could take care of themselves.
