I’ve had several requests recently for a source for local firewood. That might have something to do with the rising oil prices! Fd give you all the name of our guy, but he’s just let us know he’s getting out of the business. So I’m going to need a new source as well! What I can tell you is that as a courtesy to the Amissville fire department you should make sure you get your chimney properly cleaned! The national incidence of chimney fires has jumped up a lot in the last 10 years. They’re easily preventable and there are plenty of good chimney sweeps around.
