I am a volunteer with Hospice of the 'Rapidan, a wonderful organization that has provided compassionate and dignified end-of-life care for Fauquier County residents and their families for over 24 years. I decided to become a volunteer after Hospice of the Rapidan helped care for my father-in-law during the last stage of his life. They impressed me so much that after things settled down I inquired how I might help them care for others as a volunteer.
I had the honor of assisting my husband and motherin-law in taking care of my father-n-law during his final illness. This included making the initial phone call to Hospice of the Rapidan.
