Board member James Massie seconded Forward's resolution and Admiral Gardiner called for discussion. There was none.

“I think it’s a good resolution,” commented BZA member George Muth before Gardiner called for a vote. Forward’s resolution carried unanimously.

Muth then informed the BZA members that Supervisor Chairman E. P. Luke had requested a budget for the coming year from the BZA before the Supervisor’s April 6 meeting. Muth proposed that the BZA submit a request for $10,240—$1,440 for payment to the BZA members, $2,000 for secretarial help and $6,800 for legal counsel. His suggestion was unanimously approved.
