The Democratic Party of Rappahannock County will meet at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 15, 1978, in the Rappahannock County Court House, Washington. The purpose of this meeting is to select 4 (four) delegates and 2 (two) alternates to the State Convention convening at 8 p.m., June 9, 1978, in Williamsburg. Said convention is called for the purpose of nominating a Democratic candidate for the general election of November 7, 1978. In addition, the meeting will select 4 delegates and 2 alternates to a 7th Congressional District Convention to be held in Charlottesville, Virginia on June 3, to select a Democratic Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives to be elected November 7,1978.
