Parson asked if the Supervisors could legally « deny the BZA’s request for $3,000. “Don’t they have an obligation to support you?” he asked.
Forward responded that the Supervisors were only obligated to consider the request at an open public meeting.
“If there’s no one at the April 6 Board meeting to dispute a denial of the funding request, the Supervisors could turn us down and leave us out on a limb,” concluded Gardiner.
Spring Revival
The Five Forks Regular Baptist Church at Woodville is having a Spring revival from April 3 through April 8 with services beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The guest speaker will be Elder Nelson Pettit, pastor of Smith's Creek Regular Baptist Church at New Market. The public is invited to attend.
