R16-7. It shall be lawful to hunt raccoon from November 1 through December 31, both dates inclusive, on the George Washington National Forest and on the Gaithright, Goshen, Highland apd Little North Mountain Wildlife Manage ment Areas.
R16-8. It shall be lawful to hunt raccoon from October 15 through January 31, both dates inclusive, in the counties of Bland, Botetourt, Buchanan, Carroll, Craig, Dickenson, Floyd, Giles, Grayson, Leei Montgomery, Pulaski, Roanoke, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe.
R16-9. Except as otherwise provided by local legislation and with the specific ex ceptions provided in the regulations appearing in this
chapter, it shall be lawful to trap raccoon from December 1 through the last day of February, both dates in elusive.
R16-10. It shall be lawful to trap raccoon from December 15 through March 10, both dates inclusive, in the counties of Accomack, Charles City, Essex, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, North ampton, Northumberland, Richmond, Southampton, Surry, Westmoreland and York; and in the cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk (area formerly constituting Nan semond County) and Virginia Beach; and east of U. S. Route 95 in the counties of Caroline, Chesterfield, Fairfax, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Prince George, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Sussex. R16-11. Except as provided by local legislation, the bag limit for hunting and trapping raccoon shall be two raccoon per person or party, per day. The season bag limit shall be twenty-five per person.
