The Rush River Company on Gay Street in Washington, Va., announces some major changes. Beginning April 1, the store will feature the work of eight area craftsmen of regional and national reputation: Jinny Beyer, quilter; Nol Putnam, blacksmith; Kathy Emigh, potter and weaver; June Jordan, potter; Dill Parsons, woodworker and jeweler; Ann Friend Clark, potter; Barbara Bockman, painter; and Peter Kramer, furniture maker.
The shop will also offer Joyce Kramer's wide selection of books and Wayne Jenkin’s ample inventory of old tools. Antiques and an extensive line of quilting supplies will continue to be sold.
