It shall be lawful to trap foxes from December 15 through January 31, both dates inclusive, in the counties of Accomack, Charles City, Essex, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northampton, Northumberland, Richmond, Southampton, Surry, Westmoreland and York, and in the Cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk (area formerly constituting Nan semond County) and Virginia Beach, and east of U. S. Route 95 in the counties of Caroline, Chesterfield, Fairfax, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, Prince George, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Sussex. Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R8-8.2 to read as follows:

It shall be lawful to trap foxes from December 1 through January 31, both dates inclusive, in the counties of Bland, Botetourt, Buchanan, Carroll, Craig, Dickenson, Floyd, Giles, Grayson, Montgomery, Pulaski, Roanoke, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe. Amend Regulation R8 8 to read as follows:

Except as otherwise specifically provided by local legislation and with the specific exceptions provided in the regulations appearing in this chapter, it shall be lawful to trap foxes from November 15 through January 13, both dates inclusive.

CHAPTER 12. Opposum. Amend Regulation R12-1 to read as follows.

It shall be lawful to hunt opossum only during the open season for hunting raccoon as provided In R16-5 through R168.

Amend Regulation R12-2 to read as follows.

It shall be lawful to trap opossum only during the open season for trapping raccoon as provided in R16-9 and R16-10.
