Rappahannock's unofficial employment center is a summer success story.
Begun last month with permission from the State Welfare Department in Richmond by Janice Moffett, food stamp eligibility worker with the Rappahannock welfare office, the center offers the county's jobless a place to look for work and the county’s employers a place to find workers. It's a clearing house for opportunity.
