As to an EEG conducted in 1973 on Holmes which found the colonel had a minimal brain abnormality. Dr. Lloyd said tbe finding “means nothing ... It could be the result of sleep deprivation, breathing too fast or a serious disease.” he testified, adding that no “definite diagnosis" could be made on the basis of the 1973 EEG results. Repeatedly in his rebuttal testimony. Lloyd emphasized that there was no evidence in the medical records that Holmes was suffering from any form of brain disease.
