Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Washington, Virginia will consider the following ordinance on the 8th day of September, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County Courthouse:
ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, Section 29213.17 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, provides that the governing bodies of all towns in the Commonwealth of Virginia may, in their discretion, prohibit the running at large of all or any category of dogs in all or any designated portion of such towns during such months as they may designate; and
WHEREAS, for purposes of prohibiting the running at large of such dogs, a dog shall be deemed to be running at large while "roaming, running or self-hunting off the propoerty of its owner or custodian and not under its owner's or custodian's im
