Since the first few weeks following the announcement of the start of the job center experiment, however, inquiries from job hunters and those with jobs to fill have slacked off. “1 think it’s because so many people have forgotten or they never were real clear in the first place on what we're trying to do," Moffett said. "We want to keep in the public eye and remind people that we’re here."
Moffett urges anyone looking for employment and anyone with a job opening—no matter how big or how small, full-time or part-time, skilled or unskilled—to call her at 6753200 or stop by the Welfare Office in Washington to fill out a job center form.
