NOTICE

Pursuant to Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that a public hearing has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the basement of the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County at Washington, Virginia on Thursday, September 9, 1982 at which time the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County Virginia shall consider the following applications:

(1) SPECIAL USE APPLICATION NO. 171: Potomac Edison Company has applied for a special use permit in accordance with Section 2-1-2 of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973, to enlarge the Sperryville Substation in order to install additional facilities to meet the electrical requirements of consumers in Rappahannock County. (Continued from August 1982 meeting)

(2) VARIANCE APPLICATION No. 174: Potomac Edison Company has applied for a variance from the requirements of Section 2-2-1, 2 3, 2 5-1 (2) and 2-5-2 (2) of Article 2 in accordance with Section 16-2 2 of the Rap pahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973, in conjunction with their poroposed enlargement of the Sperryville Substation as set forth in Special Use Application No. 171.

(3) SPECIAL USE AP PLICATION NO. 175: Robert R. Dickey has applied for a special use permit in accordance with Section 2-1-2 (20) of Article 2 of the Rappahannock County Zoning Ordinance, 1973, to operate a boarding house (dormitory) for fifteen (15) students of Wakefield Country Day School on the east side of U.S. Route 522, south of Huntly, Virginia in Wakefield Magisterial District.

The above named applicants and other interested parties wishing to be heard .are requested to be present at the said time and place or to forward their written comments on said applications to the Board prior to the meeting in care of the Zoning Administrator. Copies of the foregoing applications are on file at the Zoning Office, which is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to4:30 p.m.
