Notice is hereby given that the Board ot Supervisors of Rappahannock County, Virginia will on Wednesday September 8, 1982 at 10:00 o'clock A M hold a public hearing to consider the following proposed ordinance

Any person 16 years of age or older, with parental or guardian approval, may work with or participate fully in all activities of a volunteer fire company, provided such person has attained certification under National Fire Protection Association 1001. level one, firefighter standards as administered by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs

Any trainer or instructor of such persons or any member of a paid or volunteer fire company who supervises any such person at the scene of any emergency shall be exempt from the provisions of section 40.1-103 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended. Copies of the aforesaid Junior Firefighters ordinance are on file with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County and persons affected by or interested in such ordinance may examine same between the hours of 8:30 A M and 4:30 P M., Monday through Friday. Persons affected by or interested in said ordinance may appear on September 8, 1982 at 10:00 o’clock A.M. at the Courthouse. Washington. Virginia to express their views This notice is being published once a week for two (2) successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper published in and having general circulation in the county of Rappahannock, Virginia.
