Appeals affirmed the revocation of P.E. Steve DeMent Ill’s special use permit for an addition to his Sperryville antique business. The permit was revoked for non-compliance after it became apparent when construction began that the building did not meet specifications that it be attached to the present building and located 20 feet from the adjoining property line.
The Rappahannock School Board was alerted to need for upgrading the elementary school’s sewage system treatment lagoon. An application for renewal of the lagoon’s discharge permit was filed despite the effluent’s drop below the new State Water Control Board standards.
