It's not a new high school but parts of the old RCHS sure look and smell new.
Students will return to classes on Thursday to a building that’s had the equivalent of a face lift. The gymnasium practically shouts school spirit with fresh coats of navy blue and bright yellow paint. The keys at either end of the basketball court, the center circle and the bottom half of the walls are Panther yellow. The stripe around the perimeter of the court, the doors, stage trim and stripes down the wall are all done in Panther blue. And the floor shines and sparkles brighter than a bowling alley lane with eight coats of wax.
