Lillard spent Sunday with the latter’s brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cloud at Fredericksburg. Maynard Nethers of Stephens City was a Friday overnight guest of his mother, Mrs. Robert Nethers. Also visiting on Friday evening were Charles Corder Jr. and Karen of Front Royal, Mrs. Bob Lewis of Huntly and Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather of Sperryville. The Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church held their annual picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard last Monday and was well attended.
John B. Browning of Charlottesville spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning. They had dinner on Saturday evening at The Corner Post.
Visiting with Mrs. Moffett Brady on Sunday were Mrs. Mary Atkins of Amissville and Mrs. Libby Bolton of Warrenton.
Mrs. Robert Nethers and Clyde Lillard attended a picnic held on Sunday on the Skyline Drive in honor of J. P. Lillard.
