“Two bad innings—the first and the third—killed us. They got all their runs in those two innings,” Dawson noted. .
In the bottom of the third, Porter again walloped the ball, this time for a triple, and scored on Jack Jenkins’ single to put RCHS the last inning. Rapp had six runs off ten hits with seven errors and eight walks.
“We were way down but the guys didn’t give up. They almost pulled it out,” Dawson said.
