Last winter, the Lions provided glasses to a man who has never been able to read before.
The Lions also help youth of the county with such programs as summer baseball, contributions to the seventh grade Williamsburg trip, student exchange programs and others.
They are able to do all these things because of people that care enough to support their program. If you are one of those that cares enough, come to the auction this Saturday at 1 p.m. and buy whatever catches your eye. Or call one of the Rappahannock Lions to donate an item for sale.
Tax-deductible contributions are also welcomed.
