NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15 1 -431 as amended, that the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 6, 1983. at 10:00 o'clock A M in the Courthouse at Washington. Virginia to consider the following matter. BUILDING INSPECTION FEE SCHEDULE Whereas the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors heretofore enacted an ordinance establishing a Department of Building Inspection and appointed a Building Official as required by the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, and Whereas in connection with the operations of said Building Inspection Department, it is necessary to provide for the collection of certain fees for required inspections, and Whereas the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County finds that it is in the public interest to so do. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that prior to the issuance of any Building Permit by the Building Official of Rappahannock County. Virginia, the applicant shail pay to the Treasurer of Rappahannock County. Virginia, a fee based upon the following schedule: SECTION I NEW CONSTRUCTION

A The fee for single family residential buildings shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) up to 1200 square feet and $0.10 for each square foot over 1200 square feet B The fee for multiple family residential buildings shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) plus Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) for each additional dweliinq unit. C. The fee for commercial or industrial buildings shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200 00). SECTION II ALTERATIONS. ADDITIONS OR ENLARGEMENTS. The fee for alterations or repair of any building should be Thirty Five Dollars ($35 00) for each electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical and structural inspection required as determined by the Building Official.
